Proudly located in Austin, Texas. Rebel 6 Films was founded by Erik and Denise Bernard in 2019, forged in the creative and business knowledge to deliver exciting and meaningful journeys in all film genres.     

Our goal is to create entertainment on pace with life, experienced through stories decorated with interesting characters challenged to rise or fall through exciting adventures on all entertainment platforms. 

Award-winning writer, director, and producer Erik Bernard was born in Fort Hood, Texas, raised in New York.   Television credits include Hoarders, Executive Producer & Showrunner/TLG Motion Pictures. He is credited for coordinating the first-ever Department of Defense-supported episode of season 10 of the hit show.

Film credits include the award-winning film Artik, The Place We Hide, and his most recent release, also an award-winning film, Free, Dead or Alive. Now in post-production is the full-length feature I’ll Be Watching. 

Awards include Best Director for Free, Dead or Alive (California Women’s Festival), as well as Best Feature.  

Rebel Six Films has chosen Denise Bernard to helm the organization as the Chief Executive Officer. A commensurate professional with roots in indie filmmaking and logistics. Denise Bernard grew up in Indie Filmmaking and is the perfect person to grow Rebel Six Films through wise and careful planning.
